The following is the Linlithgow Film Society programme for 2009 - 2010.

Films are shown in Linlithgow Academy Theatre. Monday shows start at 7.45pm, Saturdays at 7.30pm (unless stated otherwise)

Guest tickets for any performance MUST be booked in advance from any committee member.

A dramatic retelling of the post-Watergate television interviews between British talk-show host David Frost and former president Richard Nixon

Grumpy War vet Walt Kowalski sets out to reform his young Hmong teenage neighbour after he tries to steal his prized 1972 Gran Torino car. This could probably be Eastwoods final acting performance.
Mon. 7th Dec. “The Class” (PG) Subtitles Francois Begaudeau, Arthur Fogel
Teacher and Novelist Francois Begaudeau plays a version of himself as he negotiates a year with his racially mixed students from a tough Parisian Neighbourhood. Palme d’Or winner.

Set in the 1980s seaside town, this is the story of Edward, an unusual ten year old boy growing up in an old peoples home run by is parents. It follows his relationship with a retired magician (Caine) and his obsession with ghosts. Followed by the CHEESE AND WINE EVENING
